The path to Arthurs Acres began with a prayer for a simpler life, one where the sunrise dictated our schedule and the land provided our nourishment. In the heart of Florida, we transitioned from the noise of modern convenience to the intentional rhythms of a working homestead. What started as a small dream has grown into a life of stewardship, where we grind our own flour, gather fresh eggs from our backyard flock, and share quiet mornings milking our sweet mini Jersey cow, Penny.
For us, homesteading is more than just farm-to-table living; it is the physical expression of our Christian faith. In our home, homeschooling is woven into the daily chores of animal care and gardening, teaching our children the value of hard work, kindness, and God's design. We believe in hands-on living and authentic connection—to the earth, to each other, and to the Creator who makes all things grow.
