The Scenic Route
Life is filled with joy, loss, and everything in between. Childhood friendships fade, people come and go, and we’re left holding memories and moments that shaped us. In those transitions, we can choose bitterness—or we can choose gratitude.
Through personal loss, parenting struggles, and spiritual growth, I’ve come to see how even the pain can serve a purpose. God never promised ease, but He did promise to carry us. This post is a reflection on what it means to hold tight to faith, ask the hard questions, and keep praying—no matter how far someone’s drifted.
Because even in numbness, He revives. And even in rebellion, He redeems.
Stop Making Excuses: How to Overcome Fear and Speak with Confidence
Moses said to the lord, “Since I speak with faltering lips, why would Pharaoh listen to me?” Exodus 6:30
Faltering means losing strength, momentum, or speaking hesitantly. Moses spoke to God in a burning bush and was terrified but knew he was safe because he was on holy ground.
